Two new building rows complement the Forellenstube settlement, which was created on the village outskirts of Tamins in the 1980s, with their location, height, and roof shape defined by a district plan.
The type of two-story garden house interlocks the ground floor with the surroundings through loggia-like recesses. The tower house is a three-story, point-form unit that elevates the living space and outdoor area to the attic floor. The addition of the units is rhythmically organized by the strong recesses and captured into a sculptural whole. Inside, the brick of the load-bearing transverse walls and the concrete of the roof and walls with their raw surface characterize the spaces.
